On March 22, 2016, Mashima announced via Twitter that another Fairy Tail series was being developed. On July 20, 2017, Mashima confirmed on Twitter that the final season of Fairy Tail would air in 2018. The final season of Fairy Tail began airing on October 7, 2018.

During their panel atAnimeExpo 2018, A-1 Pictures confirmed that the final season ofFairy Tailwill begin in October 2018!
Unfortunately there isn’t much information about the final season yet,Fairy Tailfans will have plenty of supplemental material to chew on. Although the manga officially ended last year, series creator Mashima has a ton of projetcs in the works.
But don’t fret we got word of another awesome spin-off series following our favorite Lightning Dragon Slayer Laxus!
